Trained as a jeweller, Raewyn Walsh likes to use traditional jewellery making and silversmithing techniques such as raising, chasing and repousse to create unique objects that reference the domestic realm and ancestral history; vessels and spoons. Using such timely and dedicated methods, Raewyn wishes "to retain the craft memory in a contemporary context."

This will be Raewyn's first solo exhibition following her success at the Auckland Art Fair. She is currently an artist in residence at Unitec.
